Drawing upon our expertise in office leasing, real estate sales and joint venture formations, Moody Law Group has developed a niche practice representing a variety of healthcare clients with their real estate and corporate needs.  Our clients include individual and group physician practices, imaging centers, medical spas, urgent care facilities and freestanding surgical centers.  From providing legal representation in the construction of medical office buildings to negotiating leases for both medical landlords and tenants, Moody Law Group brings a real estate expertise to healthcare transactions. In addition, we are able to help our healthcare clients develop and structure various forms of joint ventures by providing creative solutions and practical legal advice.

  • Representation of a developer of a 500,000 + square-foot Wal-Mart anchored shopping center in the acquisition, predevelopment, development, financing, construction and leasing activities, including an economic incentive agreement and municipal utility district agreements
  • Representation of a developer of a 400,000 + square-foot mixed used lifestyle center in its development, financing, construction and leasing activities in west Houston
  • Representation of regional developers in build-to-suits and sale lease-backs, including economic incentive agreements for seven Academy Sports + Outdoor Stores
  • Representation of a developer in the acquisition, development, financing, construction and leasing of six Kroger anchored shopping center developments
  • Representation of a developer in the acquisition, development, financing, construction and leasing of an older shopping center for redevelopment

  • Representation of a Real Estate Investment Trust in the refinance of three locations in its mini-storage portfolio in San Antonio and Houston
  • Representation of a Real Estate Investment Trust in the acquisition and financing of a two location portfolio in Tampa, Florida

  • Representation of a land fund in acquisition and predevelopment of a 450 acre industrial and office park in West Houston, including joint-venture formation, due diligence, surface use agreement, deed restrictions, and sales of sites to end users
